Personal care that respects your pace and preferences.

Getting ready for the day can take more energy when your needs change. Abloom provides help with personal routines while respecting your privacy, your choices and the things you want to keep doing for yourself.

Whether support is needed for one part of the day or several routines, we begin with a conversation about what would make daily life more manageable.

Help with the routines that matter

  • Bathing, showering and personal hygiene.
  • Dressing, grooming and getting ready for the day.
  • Toileting and agreed incontinence care.
  • Support with meals and ordinary eating routines, as assessed.
  • Morning and evening routines included in your service plan.

If getting in and out of bed, standing or moving around your home requires assistance, tell us what help and equipment are currently used. We review the task before agreeing to provide it.

Your choices remain part of the plan

A preferred shower time, a clothing choice or a familiar way of doing a task can make a meaningful difference. We ask about your routines and explain how a caregiver will support them. Tell us about language, cultural, accessibility or personal preferences that affect your comfort.

When personal care involves nursing needs

Some situations involve medication management, treatments or more complex physical assistance. We will help you understand whether a nursing review is needed and which tasks Abloom can accept. The care plan sets out who is responsible for each part of the support.

Questions families ask

Can you help with only part of a routine?
Tell us the tasks and visit times you have in mind. We will explain the scheduling options available and any visit minimums.
Can a family member stay involved?
Yes. We discuss the support you want from family and the information you authorize us to share.
What if the level of help changes?
Contact the care team so the needs, the staffing and the service plan can be reviewed before additional tasks are assumed.

Start with the task that has become difficult

You do not need to work out the whole care plan on your own. Tell us where you would like help, and we can discuss the next step.
