Write down three things the person receiving care wants to keep doing, three tasks they would welcome help with, and any preferences that affect their comfort. Bring those notes to the discussion alongside the service questions.
They are the part of the conversation that a provider cannot prompt you for, and the part that decides whether the arrangement is any good to live with.
